1. Why is women’s financial education important to you?
Women are brilliant managers of money, but often lack the confidence to get the advice they need. I’m passionate about demystifying finance and empowering women to make the financial decisions that best suit them. I believe that financial planning is more than the numbers on the page, it has to fit with the practicalities of everyday life.
2. Describe what you do for clients. Why and when does someone engage you?
I help women from all walks of life, what unites them is that they want to make good financial decisions for themselves. They may be single, married or divorced, but they are looking for a professional adviser who is interested in addressing their needs and concerns. They are looking for an adviser that has the expertise they need, will treat them with respect to help them build their confidence, helping them achieve the financial independence and security they are looking for.
3. If you had to use five words to describe your most successful clients, what would they be?
Looking for confidence and understanding
4. What is some financial advice you’d like to share with 10thousandgirl?
If you don’t understand something, ask for it to be explained in a different way, if you still don’t get it ask again. If an expert can’t explain something in simple language, then don’t trust the advice. Those advisers that truly understand their craft can explain it in accessible terms.
5. What can clients expect at their first meeting/consultation with you?
An opportunity to discuss what they are truly looking for in their financial advice. We discuss what challenges they are facing, what their most pressing issues are and how they would like to be assisted.
6. How do women contact you to organise an initial catch up?
Email or phone call. We can have an initial chat over the phone and/or set up a time to meet.
